Product Introduction

This product has a molecular formula of FeSO ₄ ·7H ₂ O, with a pale green or pale yellowish-green crystalline appearance. It is odorless, with a salty and astringent taste. It is easily soluble in water and glycerol, insoluble in ethanol, corrosive, and easily deliquescent and efflorescent.

After drying through an 80-meter kiln and hot air system, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate is obtained as dried ferrous sulfate.

Product Properties

1. It can be used as a flocculant in water treatment, and can also be used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants as a chemical agent for phosphorus removal to prevent eutrophication of surface water;

2. It can also be used as an industrial reducing agent to treat chromates in cement, and to neutralize excess oxidants in water treatment, such as in boiler room temperature deoxygenation processes;

In addition to being used in the treatment of drinking water, industrial water, and various wastewater, this product can also be used as a raw material for the production of iron-based water treatment agents.

Usage and Precautions

1. The product can be used directly or diluted before use. The dilution concentration can be determined according to the dosage, the water quality to be treated, and the dosing equipment. The dosage should be determined according to the stirring test and the production test.

2. It cannot be mixed with other water treatment agents or organic flocculants, and cannot be mixed with other chemicals.

3. During transportation, the product should be handled with care to prevent damage to the packaging. It should not be exposed to sunlight or rain, and should not be stored or transported together with toxic or harmful substances.

4. The product has a shelf life of one year.
