Thallium remover
- Product Description
-
The main methods for treating heavy metal wastewater include: chemical precipitation, ion exchange, physical-chemical methods, and biological and reverse osmosis methods. Currently, considering the process and cost, the commonly used method for treating industrial wastewater heavy metals is mainly chemical precipitation.
1. Sulfide precipitation method:
Advantages: low cost, economical, simple process.
Disadvantages:
1. Strictly affected by pH, the effluent cannot be stably up to standard;
2. Difficult to achieve deep treatment, hard to meet the electroplating wastewater discharge standards GB21900-2008 Table 3 requirements;
3. Cannot treat complexed forms of heavy metals;
4. Precipitation particles are small, making solid-liquid separation difficult;
5. Large amount of sludge generated, which is classified as hazardous waste with high disposal costs;
6. Residual sulfides generate toxic H2S when encountering acids, causing secondary pollution.
2. Heavy metal capturing agent method
Advantages:
1. Wider pH adaptability;
2. Can treat complexed form wastewater;
3. Can achieve deep treatment to meet electroplating wastewater discharge standards GB21900-2008 Table 3 requirements;
4. Has flocculation effect;
5. Less sludge generation and easy dewatering.
Disadvantages: expensive and cannot stably meet treatment standards.
