The molecular formula of this product is FeSO4.7H2O, appearance is light green or light yellow-green crystals, odorless, salty, astringent, easily soluble in water and glycerin, insoluble in ethanol, has corrosive properties and is hygroscopic.
Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate is dried and then granulated to produce granular ferrous sulfate.
Product performance:
1. It can be used as a flocculant in water treatment and can also be applied in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants as a chemical agent for phosphorus removal to prevent eutrophication of surface water;
2. It can also serve as an industrial reducing agent to treat chromates in cement and neutralize excess oxidants in water treatment processes, such as the boiler's room temperature deoxygenation process;
