Amphoteric polyacrylamide is formed by the hydrolysis copolymerization of acrylamide and a vinyl cationic monomer. Infrared spectroscopy analysis shows that the product chain contains not only "carboxyl anions" from the hydrolysis of acrylamide, but also vinyl cations. Therefore, it forms an amphoteric irregular polymer with both positive and negative charges on the molecular chain.

    Applications

    (1) Used for sludge dewatering.According to the properties of sludge, the corresponding model of this product can be selected to effectively dewater sludge before it enters the filter press.During dewatering, large flocs are produced, which do not stick to the filter cloth, do not disperse during filtration, the sludge cake is thicker, and the dewatering efficiency is high, and the moisture content of the sludge cake is below 80%.
    (2) Used for the treatment of domestic sewage and organic wastewater.This product exhibits positive electricity in both neutral and alkaline media, which is very effective in flocculating and settling wastewater with negatively charged suspended particles.Such as the production of grain alcohol wastewater, papermaking wastewater, wastewater from urban sewage treatment plants, beer wastewater, monosodium glutamate wastewater, sugar wastewater, wastewater with high organic content, feed wastewater, textile printing and dyeing wastewater, etc., the use of cationic polyacrylamide is several or even dozens of times more effective than the use of anionic, non-ionic polyacrylamide or inorganic salts, because these wastewaters generally carry a negative charge.
    (3) Used as a flocculant for the treatment of tap water using river water as a water source.It has a small dosage, good effect, and low cost, especially when used in combination with inorganic flocculants, the effect is even better.It will become a highly efficient flocculant for tap water plants in the Yangtze River, Yellow River and other basins.
    (4) Papermaking strengthening agent and other auxiliaries.Improve the retention rate of fillers, pigments, etc., and the strength of paper.
    (5) Used as oilfield chemical auxiliaries, such as clay swelling inhibitors and oilfield acidizing thickeners.
    (6) Used as textile sizing agent, stable slurry performance, less shedding, low fabric breakage rate, and smooth fabric surface.
