  • Product Description
  • Product Introduction

Polyferric sulfate is a cationic inorganic polymer flocculant with multiple hydroxyl and polynuclear complexes. PFS can be rapidly mixed with water at any ratio. It has a larger molecular weight than general inorganic flocculants. When used as a water treatment agent, it has strong adsorption, flocculation bridging, and coagulation precipitation performance. The floccules formed are large and fast, are not easily broken, have good re-coagulation properties, and the settled water filters quickly. It also boasts advantages such as a wide range of water pH values after sedimentation.

    Product Performance

    1. High Efficiency: Polyferric sulfate is a composite polymer with a large molecular structure and strong adsorption capacity. Its water purification effect is superior to all traditional inorganic water treatment agents.

    2. Rapid: After being added to the raw water, it forms large floccules, resulting in fast sedimentation, high activity, and good filterability.

    3. Strong Adaptability: It is highly adaptable to various raw waters and has minimal impact on the pH value of the water (pH 4-11). Regardless of the raw water turbidity or the concentration of wastewater pollutants, its purification effect is significant.

    4. Low Dosage: It is characterized by low dosage, low purification cost, easy operation, and minimal corrosion to equipment and pipelines. The product's inherent red color allows for visual monitoring of overdosage, reducing waste.

    Usage

    1. Before use, add the product to a dissolution tank at a certain concentration (10-30%), add tap water, stir for complete hydrolysis, let it stand until it becomes a reddish-brown liquid, then dilute it to the required concentration before adding it for coagulation. Water plants can also prepare a 2-5% solution for direct addition, while industrial wastewater treatment can use a 5-10% solution.

    2. Determination of Dosage: The dosage of polyferric sulfate is determined based on the properties of the raw water. This can be determined through production debugging or jar tests, observing the formation of appropriate flocs. Water plants can refer to the dosage of other agents used. Under the same conditions, the dosage of this product is slightly lower than that of solid polyaluminum chloride and 1/3-1/4 that of solid aluminum sulfate. If a liquid product was previously used, the dosage can be determined based on the corresponding agent concentration.

    3. During use, pump the prepared solution into the metering tank and add the solution to the raw water for coagulation through metering.

    4. Generally, the solution should be prepared and used on the same day. Tap water is required for preparation, and slight sediment is normal.

    Packaging and Storage

Solid product is packaged in 25Kg bags, with an inner layer of plastic film and an outer layer of plastic woven bag. The product should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and cool indoor place, protected from moisture, and kept away from flammable, corrosive, and toxic substances.
