  • Product Description
  • This product is a new type of inorganic coagulant, abbreviated as polyaluminum chloride, with the English abbreviation PAC. It is a water-soluble inorganic polymer that lies between AlCl3 and Al(OH)3. This product is made from synthetic hydrochloric acid, calcium aluminate powder, and bauxite using advanced technology. It has good flocculation effects and a low price, with purification effects superior to traditional aluminum sulfate and iron salt coagulants. The solid product uses spray drying technology and drum drying technology, available in industrial-grade yellow powder and drum-dried granular forms. The product is widely used in industrial wastewater treatment, drinking water purification, urban water supply, and industrial water purification.

Note: The indicators for insoluble substances, iron, ammonia nitrogen, arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, and chromium listed for liquid products in the table are calculated based on an Al2O3 mass fraction of10%. When AL2O3 is not equal to10%, it should be converted according to the actual content into the corresponding mass fraction based on the proportion for Al2O310%.

     Usage Method:

Dissolve the solid product in water at a ratio of1:3 to form a liquid solution before diluting it with10-30 times clean water to achieve the desired concentration for use.The ideal pH value for dosing is between3.5-5.0; selecting an ideal pH value can maximize coagulation benefits. The dosage can be determined based on the turbidity level of raw water; generally when raw water turbidity is100-500mg/L,the dosage per thousand tons should be10-20kg.When raw water turbidity is high, the dosage should be increased appropriately; when turbidity is low,the dosage can be reduced accordingly.

For rural use, dosing agents can be added directly into storage tanks, mixed thoroughly, and allowed to settle;the clear liquid can then be used.Add approximately1 gramof this agent for every50 kilograms. If this agent is combined with high molecular weight flocculants produced by this company, the effect will be even better.Dosing can involve dissolving anionic polyacrylamide or cationic polyacrylamide produced by this company together with PAC to create composite flocculants or first adding PAC to the treated water body to form aggregates before adding anionic polyacrylamide produced by this company to bridge adsorb large flocs.

The dosing amount of polyaluminum chloride in different water qualities:

1.In low turbidity waters, dilute solid polyaluminum chloride products at a ratioof1:3(weight ratio)with tap water, and stir until completely dissolved.

2.In domestic or production wastewater, start by adding about30gof polyaluminum chloride per tonof wastewater. Then add diluted polyacrylamide products.(If results are not obvious please adjust the amount accordingly.)

3.In paper mill wastewater treatment, use dilution ratios suitable for low turbidity waters;if results are not obvious adjust as necessary.

4.When raw water turbidity ranges from100-500mg/L,the dosing amount should be5-10mg which translates to5-10kg per thousand tons;before use try small tests based onwater quality characteristics to find ideal values before application.
