What are the advantages of polyaluminium chloride in wastewater treatment?

Polymeric aluminum ferric chloride has good sedimentation flocculation effect, is less affected by temperature, and can give priority to cost savings in wastewater treatment, so users have always been fond of it. It can quickly remove suspended solids, colloids, and surfactants in water treatment.

Polymeric aluminum ferric chloride has strong corrosiveness in low molecular iron salt. In inorganic flocculant, iron salt has corrosive effect on polymeric aluminum ferric chloride and polymeric aluminum chloride, but aluminum salt flocculant is generally 2-3 higher than the PH value of iron salt flocculant, so the corrosion of iron salt is stronger than aluminum salt. Ferrous salt has yellowing and blackening problems. when PH<8, it cannot be completely clarified from the water body, and the residual iron in the effluent will oxidize, thus forming FE(OH)3 precipitation, resulting in secondary coloring. Fe2 treats raw water with high organic matter content and high chroma, and can react with humic acid in the water to generate humic acid iron compounds that are difficult to flocculate and settle, turning the water into black water. Trivalent iron salt is not suitable for the treatment of sulfur-containing wastewater and some industrial water supply: FE3 can form a mixture of iron sulfide and ferrous sulfide in sulfur-containing wastewater, which is difficult to produce flocculation and precipitation.

Polymeric aluminum ferric chloride for food, brewing, textile, papermaking and other industrial wastewater, because the iron in the water will directly affect the color, taste and other quality of the product, it is not appropriate to use iron salt as a flocculant, if used, the need to strictly control the PH value of the effluent, so that the residual iron content of the effluent to meet the process requirements.
